Free Spur of the Moment Babymoon

Josh and I had a great opportunity to stay in a Luxury Condo for free in Breckinridge this weekend. The timeshare owners had a last minute emergency that prevented them from going, so they offered their already booked condo to whoever wanted to take it! Josh heard about the deal through work, since the owner was a fireman, and both Josh and the fireman work for the city. Lucky for us, no one else took the offer, so two hours later after a quick stop at our ward party we headed to Breckinridge.

We pretty much just hung out and relaxed the whole time. It was beautiful in the snowy mountains, and it was just nice to be away together without work or school!

The resort had an awesome aquatic center. There were mulitple hottubs, and the pool was 90 degrees. Josh tried out all the hot tubs, and I just sat on the tob step of a few of them, so my body temperature didn't get to high! I did like the warm pool!

Here's a picture of me and my fat belly sporting my maternity like swimming suit!! (It's not really maternity, but it works just like a maternity swimming suit, and I bought it on clearance)!

The weekend was a lot of fun, and I'm glad we had the chance to just be together!!!

Visitors!!!

Steve (Josh's dad), Deana (Steve's wife), the kids (all 6 of them), Great Grandma Peabody, and Great Aunt Valoy all came to visit us last weekend! It was a blast to have everyone here. They rode the train from Salt Lake City to Denver, and then Josh and I picked them up Thursday night and brought them to Fort Collins.

The kids all stayed in our place, so our two bedroom condo was a pretty crazy little zoo for a couple of days, but it was a lot of fun!

Friday I had to work, but they all had lots of fun with Josh hanging around Fort Collins. Saturday we went up to Rocky Mountain National Park. Here are some pictures from the visit:

Sunday everyone went to church with us. I happened to have a musical number in Sacrament Meeting, so it was neat for me to share my Testimony with my in-laws through singing! After Sacrament before the crew left, we took some pictures outside!!

Team Blue

We found out we are having a little BOY!! We are really excited, and I have to say most of the guesses, including my own, were wrong.  I thought we were having a girl, and so did so many others!!  Josh, however, knew we were having a boy, but didn’t voice his inclination until right before the ultrasound!

Everything at the appointment went great!  Our mini Josh measured a week ahead of my due date, like he did at the first ultrasound- so who knows- maybe he will come early!!  The ultrasound tech said my placenta is sitting in my back, so that is probably why I woke up (and still do) with back aches for the past 6 weeks!  It’s a blessing though because she said that is how I was able to feel him at 17 weeks, instead of 20 like my doctor said!

My birthday was two days ago, so it was a great birthday present!  Here are some pictures of the last couple of days!

A wonderful lady in my ward made this birthday cake for me!  She has four boys that I babysit sometimes, so they all made me cards and brought the party on over.

This was taken yesterday.  I am technically 19 weeks tomorrow, but according to the ultrasound, I’m measuring 20 weeks tomorrow!

This was taken today with timer on the camera, while I was waiting for Josh to get ready for our appointment.  I was anxious, so I was ready way ahead of time!

And of course… We are on Team Blue!  We are having a BOY!
