For Labor Day weekend we headed north to Burney Falls and Crater Lake.
Burney Falls
We stayed in Klamath Falls, Oregon. I have a Great Aunt and Uncle from Klamath Falls that I have never met, but I did meet a lady at church who knew them. My Great Aunt actually passed away last week, so it was kind of ironic timing that we were there.
Anyway, close to the hotel we stayed at Saturday night there were a couple of food trucks. The kids thought the seating was pretty cool, even though we ended up eating in our hotel room. The bbq from the food truck was delicious!
Crater Lake- The deepest lake in America. It was created after the volcano went off and collapsed on itself.
On the way home we stopped at the mall in Redding, CA. The kids were crazy (or driving me crazy), but they had tons of fun playing on the “toys” at the mall.
It was a nice getaway! The falls were pretty, and the lake was beautiful!
