A couple weeks ago, I finally got the family to go on an adventure. It's not that they don't like adventures- they just always want to swim all day on Saturday. I convinced them that this would be worth it because they could swim right next to the waterfall.
The waterfall was about 30 minutes away, and then we had a fun little hike to get down to it. Surprisingly there weren't too many bugs, and we go there pretty early, so there weren't too many people, yet, either.
This place was perfect for the littles and bigs. It had some shallow water, and the deepest it got was just past my waste right under the larger waterfall. There was a smaller waterfall above the larger waterfall where we went to first because there were no people in that area. We sat right on the rock and had the water hit us. It felt so good, and was so fun.
Before heading to the lower part of the waterfall, I ran down there to get a picture of the family up top. Then I ran back up to help Josh with the littles. After that, the real fun began! Josh didn't wear his swimming suit, so he didn't get too deep in the water, but I made all kids touch the waterfall. (I didn't really make them, they all WANTED to touch it).
We knew it was time to leave when we smelt pot. I did read on the reviews to get there early. We got some lunch and gelato in the mall afterword, and even did some grocery shopping in the mall. It was certainly a fun and memorable day!
