2018

I haven't written a blog post since the end of September.  I have been going from one thing to the next since then, and now that Christmas is over and it is a new year, I finally have a chance to sit down and write an update.  Actually, this post will be more of  highlight adventure(s) from the past year from each month.

January: San Diego for Daddy's work with a stop in Joshua Tree National Park.

February: We moved to Las Vegas, NV.

March: We went to Death Valley on our way home from Inyo County in California on a work trip with Daddy.  We also went up to Northern Utah and Idaho for Spring Break.
April: We seem to like to go on work trips with Daddy because we went to New Mexico with him in April.  We stopped at the National Parks down there.
May: We had cousins come and play.  We also took Uncle Aaron with us to Sequoia National Park and Los Angeles over Memorial Day Weekend.
June: We went and played with Kayla and her kids in Colorado and went to Rocky Mountain National Park.
July: We spent a week around Wyoming where we hung out with my sister and her family, went to Yellowstone National Park, and explored areas around there.
August: My Grandpa Wilde's funeral was in Idaho the beginning of August.
September: We had a last minute trip to Kauai in Hawaii over Labor Day weekend.  Later on in the month, Josh and I went to Washington DC for a quick trip.  I only stayed one day, but Josh had to stay longer for work.

October: Josh and I went skydiving.  My parents met us there, and with the kids they all watched us come down with the parachutes.  Josh loved it.  I got sick to my stomach.  The kids also had their primary program in October.
November: A week after Halloween and the Primary Program, we went to St. Thomas and St. John in the US Virgin Islands.  We met Aunt Sadie there, and she was the best nanny.  We also spent some time in Orlando, FL at the end of our trip.  I didn't write a post about this, and have a ton of pictures to share, but maybe another time I will actually write about it.

We came home, and a week later we hosted Thanksgiving at our house.  Tina and her family, Jason and his family, my parents, and Aaron all came.  That was a lot of fun to have them all here.

December: December was crazy- mostly because there was a lot going on with Primary.  We were in charge of the ward Christmas Party this year.  Plus, with the new changes in curriculum for Primary, we had a training for the teachers.  We ended up taking a weekend to go to the Sock Party in Ogden.  We had Christmas at home, but went to St. George that afternoon.  Then on the 26th we went up to Ogden.  We were up there (Ogden and Timberlakes at the cabin) for almost a week. For some reason my December photos haven't backed up to Google photos, and I am too lazy to get them off my phone and on to the computer some other way,  so no photos from Christmas to put on here.  Oh, well!  Maybe I will do another blog post more about Christmas later... maybe!

Overall- 2018 was full of adventures like the rest of our years.  We know life isn't perfect, but we feel so blessed with our lot.  We are a happy family, and we are grateful for our knowledge of the Savior and his Gospel!
