At her one year old appointment she weighed 18 lbs 6 oz, however, they left her clothes and full diaper on, so I am rounding to about 18 lbs. She still wears size 3 diapers, and her clothes are mostly 12 months, but I have kept her in the 9 months, so we could travel North for Spring Break. (Most of her 12 months clothes are Summer).
Payson and I were able to capture some super cute one year old birthday pictures of her. It was an adventure getting these pictures done. First of all the set up was interesting because she either wanted to be held, or would crawl away. If she wasn't giving me trouble, then Avenly was. Payson was laughing at everything, but alas- we finally got it set up. Then, to actually take the pictures, Zaylee wanted to either play with her crown, or take her necklace off. Plus, the balloons were never in the perfect position, especially the heart balloon. Meanwhile, while Payson and I were snapping pictures, Avenly sat in dog poop, so proceeded to take her pants off at the park where we were taking pictures. It was an adventure, but most things are with these three littles of mine, and I know I complain sometimes, but I wouldn't change my lot in life for the world. I love these babies of mine!
So enough blabbing- time to show off that cute baby girl!
We had a birthday party a day early for her because Josh had to leave town on her birthday. She didn't really eat her cupcake, but she was cute while we sang to her.
She got a book for her birthday, so here is Daddy reading it to her. She loved it.
This is a quick video of her birth picture to her year-old-self. It's crazy how fast the babies grow.

A few things I want to remember... Her very favorite thing to say is "uh-oh." She says it when she or anyone else drops something, but she doesn't just say it once, she says it over and over. It's so cute! She loves to be held ALL THE TIME, except when we are outside. Then she wants to crawl around and get dirty. She is still taking 2 naps a day, and goes to bed nice and early. She does not sleep as good at night as she did when she was a little baby, but still my best sleeper. She LOVES food. She will eat almost any type of food you give her. She has even eaten bits of onion that fell on the floor when I was cutting up an onion one time. She doesn't, however, like Cheerios! We love our Zaylee Zoo, and couldn't imagine our lives without her.
