Babies grow so fast so every month parents want to celebrate that there baby is one month older! They take pictures and may even do something fun! Well, Josh and I are no different- in fact I might be a little over board, but who isn’t with their first baby, right?
Payson’s 5th month birthday happen to fall on a Saturday. I cheated and took 5 month pictures the day before while Josh was at work.

On Payson’s actual 5 month birthday we celebrated by going on a picnic to Maple Lake. We were going to rent a paddle boat because they had baby life jackets, but we didn’t have enough time. I put the shark outfit on Pay Pay because I thought it was perfect for the lake!
Later that evening we went to a MLS (Major League Soccer) Chicago Fire game. Payson liked to watch everything around him. When he was tired, he just fell asleep in my arms. Too bad we didn’t get a picture of him sleeping.
