Summer has Begun

Our Vacation to See Family

Josh started work on June 13, so we thought we would go see family before he started his job.  We began our vacation by going to Lake Powell with Josh’s dad and his family.  Lake Powell is beautiful and it was a lot of fun.  We boated and went on some neat hikes.

Josh and I slept on the top of the boat.  One night the wind was so bad that the boat got de-anchored.  We drifted and had to re-anchor the boat in the middle of the night.

West Yellowstone and Yellowstone National Park

We went to West Yellowstone and  Yellowstone National Park with my family.  The weather was cold for the most part, but we saw lots of cool things and animals.

Josh and I celebrated our First Year Anniversary in West Yellowstone.  My mom saved the top layer of our cake, and we attempted to eat it on our anniversary. We did the whole- cute the cake and feed each other, but Josh spit his piece out.  In fact,  My Grandpa Bosen was the only one who wanted to eat some of the cake.

We also went to the wolf and bear discover center in West Yellowstone and saw some of the animals.  We watched the bears find their food.

When  Josh and I started our long drive back to Colorado, we went through Grand Teton National Park.  Some of the pictures in this album are from the Tetons!

. Other Family Fun

Before we went to Yellowstone, we did a few other fun things.  We spent a couple days with Molly, Josh’s mom and Sadie and Spencer (Siblings).  During that time we went to the Desert Star Theater in Salt Lake.  We also went to the 'Outlets in Park City, and visited Grandma and Grandpa Mayo in Midway.

My family got a new hot tub the day before we got to my parents house.  We had a bbq to celebrate the hot-tub, and really just to have  a bbq. Josh did some hard work with some cool power tools, so I had to get pictures because this is a rarity for my cute, business man Josh! This was the first time I got to meet my new nephew- Baby Derrick.  Tina and Brant have three beautiful boys, now, and I love them all so much.

This album is some pictures from the theater and the bbq.  There might be a couple random pictures, too. I did get frozen yogurt with some friends in Pocatello while I was there.

Moving To Fort Collins

We moved to Fort Collins, CO the end of May.  On the way we ran into some intense rain and tornado weather.  We had to pull over twice during our drive because we couldn’t see anything.  The first time we pulled under an overpass.  The second time we pulled into a sunflower oil production plant.  The workers in the office gave us hot chocolate and let us stay until the worst of the storm had passed.

When we got to our new place in Fort Collins, we loved it, however, there was dog hair EVERYWHERE.  Some of the pictures in the album are of the disgusting dog hair that we cleaned.  First we rented a rug doctor and shampooed all of the carpet.  Then we took off to see family for a couple of weeks.  When we came back, I vacuumed everything again, used the hose to get all the floor boards, and I even lint rolled the ENTIRE carpet floor with lint rollers, just to get the rest of the dog hair. It was not fun, but worth it to have the dog hair gone.

I have also been decorating the house a bit, and there is a few pictures of our decorations.  Also- note the cool new fridge we have!

Josh Turns 24

For Josh’s 24th birthday this year we went to Branson, MO, and Wilson’s Creek Battlefield.  The battlefield was really neat, and the weather was perfect.
