The weather was quite nice while we were there. Trex and I met Josh for lunch on his lunch break, and went to a fun place on Main Street. I enjoyed walking around- checking out the little shops.
We spent a lot of time in Yellowstone National Park where we saw waterfalls, bison, elk, and the hotspots. It was pretty crowded Saturday afternoon. There was a lot of roads closed and construction on the main road, so that slowed things down a bit.
Trexton loved the water, and wanted to get all the way in. He was a cutie on the trip. His favorite word was "daddy!" Now that we are home, he doesn't say it as much. He really became Daddy's pal, though!
And of course, he spent some time in the stroller, so Josh and I could get some couple selfies. We managed a couple picts with all three of us, and to be honest it was wierd (but not wierd) to only have one kid with us. It reminded me of traveling with Payson when he was a one year old.
The scenery was beautiful. This was the first time in our married life going to see Yellowstone Lake. It was huge and pretty neat.We didn't see a ton of animals, but the few we saw were cool.
We had a great time, and can't wait to take all the kids next time we go.
