3 years old- Zaylee

Our stubborn, smart, and cute Zaylee girl turned 3.

 Everyone who has ever been a parent or worked with toddlers know it is more of the terrible threes than the terrible twos. Miss Zaylee hit the terrible threes early while she was 2, so hopefully, she will get over this stage early. :) Regardless of her looong fits when she doesn't get the pink spoon with the pink bowl (or whatever else), we sure love her, and she is one smart puppy with her immense vocabulary, incorporating words like destroy into her sentences. She does have some of her own pronunciations like snuit snack, instead of fruit snack, and her very favorite song in the ABC song.

When Payson and Avenly turned 3, I taught them how to spell their name.  I used the same tune to teach Zaylee knowing she could pick it up easy.  The only problem is, she is a stinker and learns too much from her brother and sister. I ask her how to spell her name and she sings, "Z -A -Y- L- N- POOP" every-time. Sometimes she uses different letters, but always ends in "poop." Maybe it's because she has pooping problems- poor girl.  She is potty trained for number 1, which she pretty much did herself, however, she does not like going number 2, and to add the toilet to the mix makes her desire to not go even worse.  She has successfully gone on the toilet after bribery, but now that she has the prize, she does not want to do it again.  She will put her own diaper or pull up on to poop.  I am not worried.  She will eventually get sick of getting it all over her bum and decide to poop on the toilet.

Zaylee loves her dolls, the color pink, and pigtails in her very short hair. We have never cut her hair. She makes Trexton laugh more than anyone else, and she loves to use his diapers on her babies. She really has such a huge personality for her tiny body, and I hope I am teaching her well enough to grow into that big personality, so she can accomplish life to the fullest by making the best choices.
