We had a pretty cool 3rd anniversary date, and we never have dates without Payson, so I thought I should definitely blog about this one! Josh's brother, Jarom, is marrying a girl, Laura, we set him up with from Chicago. She is home for a couple months before she gets married, so we had Payson's future aunt babysit for us! We were worried about leaving him for so long without us, but he did great with Laura, and didn't even cry the whole time we were gone!
For our date, Josh got a groupon for a Fancy Smancy French restaurant in downtown Chicago. The restaurant was on the 78th floor in a building right by the lake! It was pretty neat. After we ate dinner, we walked to Lake Michigan, and of course Josh touched the water. After we got back, we took Laura out to ice cream to thank her for watching Payson. It was a great evening!
